Frogs were a species of sentient beings from the planet Sesamos. They could be sensitive to the Force. The leader of the First Jedi Order, Master Lermit, was part of the species, as was his son Kermit.
There was a species on the planet Earth, also within the galaxy, that hosted frogs that weren't sentient of humanoid, instead being primitive animals.
Within Earth-167, people such as Piggy knew of frogs, although in the universe they were non-sentient.
